Idiot of the day

I got pegged in the head with a soccer ball today. Quietly sitting in the grass, reading a magazine during my daughter's practice, and loving it, when POW! Suddenly I'm being stared at by a crowd of five-year-olds and their thirty-five-year-old parents.

Sort of makes you feel stupid.

BlessedMom said...: Eek! This can seem funny, but we just had a mom in our homeschool group that had this happen to her. She had permanent nerve damage now, and has been on bed rest for 3 months. The doctors expect it to take up to a year for her to be recovered enough to go back to her daily duties.
